Ferro Backup System - corrupted database

Problem
The problem is caused by a corrupted program database. The most common causes of such corruptions are interferences caused by a virus scanner or a sudden power outage.

Recommendations
To avoid this problem in future, you should: Solution
  • Restore Database file from Backup copy
    A database backup can be found in the file FBSDatabase.bak. The standard file location is as follows: C:\Program Files\FERRO Software\Ferro Backup System\
    To fix the problem, delete or move FBSDatabase.abs to another location and change the FBSDatabase.bak extension to .abs.

  • Repair Database file
    To repair the database file, run the FBS Server program with /rapairdb parameter
